America’s Future Workforce Joins the Opportunity Youth Network (OYN)

Arlington, Virginia — (July 30, 2014) — Today America’s Future Workforce became a member of the Aspen Institute’s Opportunity Youth Network (OYN). The interconnected group of entities comprises national nonprofits, businesses and government leaders who share a common mission and strive to reengage more than one million youth disconnected from traditional employment and education pathways. AFW’s involvement will provide our stakeholders exposure to opportunities around the country, as well as bring to the fore new ideas in the fight against youth underemployment and unemployment.

An America’s Future Workforce representative has not been assigned to one of the five action groups. Instead the organization representative will contribute, as seen fit, to discussions in each of the five groups.
